Mascara de los Milagros

Woohoo finally finished with this! First off, if the Spanish sounds silly or odd, please tell me because I know little Spanish and I'm hoping I got it right ;^;

I've got a big explanation lined up behind this so get ready...

So this is my interpretation of the Mask of Chaos in the spirit of Dia de los Muertos! I never knew much about Dia de los Muertos before drawing this, so I researched what the holiday is all about for inspiration and cultural exposure! I didn't want anyone to be offended or feel that I trivialized a holiday by making this, so I wanted to research it and come up with some sort of background to it.
I thought it might be interesting if after everything is settled in Monte d'or, the citizens and anyone who happens to be there hold a festival to celebrate Randall's return, or something like that. Like a huge Dia de los Muertos, Carnevale, and Mardi Gras style of celebration rolled into one. Since most of the Layton games have settings where they are inspired by cultures but never explicitly one or the other, I thought it would be interesting if they had festivities that reflected that.

I hope no one is offended by this! Celebrating Dia de los Muertos is not in my heritage so I have few firsthand experiences with it. I feel like I grew culturally learning more about it and loved every second of it! I love the idea of honoring those who have passed by holding festivities with those you love. I feel like it has been getting so much more media exposure lately, which is great!

I will also be doing some PL Halloween stuff when I've got the time... probably not as elaborate (?) as this though.

Does this count as vector or minimalist? LOL I am never sure when it comes to that stuff.
I'm also kind of afraid to offer this any bigger because it's something easily stolen in my opinion. Not saying I'm the coolest or anything, but art thieves take anything they can get their hands on.
